Our Bands
Beginning Band is designed for students with limited or no experience on a band instrument. Students learn instrument assembly, tone production, basic musicianship, and ensemble skills. Performance opportunities include solo and ensemble festival(s), a winter concert, and a spring concert.​

Symphonic Band is our non-varsity band and is designed for our intermediate students. Membership is open to students with at least one year of experience performing in a school band program. Symphonic Band members are eligible to participate in Region Band Auditions, Solo & Ensemble, Pep Rallies, Football Games, and traditional concerts throughout the school year.
Additionally, members of this group will have one sectional rehearsal scheduled outside of the school day each week.

Honors Band
Honors Band is the premiere ensemble of the LTMS Band Program. In UIL activities, this group is designated as the Varsity band. Membership is open to all students with at least one year of experience performing in a school band program. Honors Band will give numerous performances throughout the school year both on and off-campus.
Members of this group will also have one sectional rehearsal scheduled outside of the school day each week. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled as needed.
